Description

Wood & Leather — Adventurer Kit — 6×22 ml Mini Set

From well-oiled saddles to trail-worn scabbards, Wood & Leather is a warm, practical palette tuned for furniture grain, straps, boots, bows, and aged timber. Layer fast, blend cleanly, and finish dead-flat for rugged, readable surfaces.

Why you’ll love it

  • Natural wear & grain: Browns and ochres that sell real leather and wood without going orange or muddy.

  • BSG workflow built in: 2 Base, 2 Sketch, 2 Glaze for fast, repeatable results.

  • Ultra-flat finish: No unwanted shine—perfect for gear, handles, and terrain.

  • Project-friendly volume: 6 bottles × 22 ml each.

What’s inside

  • Base (100% opaque): Graveyard Grim, Sands of Time Ochre

  • Sketch (pre-thinned, semi-opaque): Kevin, Fried Adventurer

  • Glaze (pre-thinned, transparent): Burning Vermillion, Ground Dweller Sepia

How to use

  1. Base with Graveyard Grim (deep bark/sole tone) and block warm boards or leather panels with Sands of Time Ochre.

  2. Sketch grain and raised wear: pull Kevin for cool-brown shaping; use Fried Adventurer to warm edges, straps, and knuckles.

  3. Glaze character: touch Burning Vermillion into scuffs and warmed edges (sun rub, heat), then unify recesses and stitch lines with Ground Dweller Sepia for oily, trail-worn depth.

  4. Optional: Feather a final Fried Adventurer pass on the brightest edges for that hand-rubbed look—without actual shine.

Tech specs

  • Finish: Ultra-flat

  • Volume: 6×22 ml bottles

  • Use: Brush or airbrush (glazes are pre-thinned; add reducer as needed)

  • Best results: Over mid-grey or ivory primers; combine light stippling + glazes for believable wood grain and leather wear.

Pairs perfectly with:

  • Earthworks (Browns & Ochres) — soil and bark tones to extend bases and scenery.

  • Verdant Realms (Greens & Moss) — natural greens for cloaks, mossy bases, and woodland accents that complement warm leathers.
