Description

Verdigris & Patina — NMM/FX (Non-Metal) — 6×22 ml Mini Set

Oxidized depth, sea-green sheen—Verdigris & Patina lets you paint aged bronze and weathered copper without metallics. This cool, maritime palette is tuned for statues, ornaments, armor trim, and corroded hull plating—layer fast, blend cleanly, and finish ultra-flat.

Why you’ll love it

  • Convincing patina without metallics: Build the whole oxidation story with hue and value—no metal flake needed.

  • BSG workflow built in: 2 Base, 2 Sketch, 2 Glaze for guided, repeatable results.

  • Ultra-flat finish: Crisp, camera-ready surfaces—no unwanted shine.

  • Project-friendly volume: 6 bottles × 22 ml each.

What’s inside

  • Base (100% opaque): Archipelago Teal, Gauss Cannon Blue

  • Sketch (pre-thinned, semi-opaque): Minty Shake, Castaway Green

  • Glaze (pre-thinned, transparent): Black Forest, Catacomb Lichen

How to use

  1. Base with Archipelago Teal and Gauss Cannon Blue to set cool copper/bronze foundations and shadow planes.

  2. Sketch highlights: feather Minty Shake and Castaway Green to build mineral lift, salt bloom, and sun-kissed oxide.

  3. Glaze the illusion: sink Black Forest into panel lines and undercuts for black-green depth; mist Catacomb Lichen to mute, mottle, and unify into authentic verdigris.

  4. Optional: Re-tap Minty Shake on the sharpest edges for that chalky, oxidized pop.

Tech specs

  • Finish: Ultra-flat

  • Volume: 6×22 ml bottles

  • Use: Brush or airbrush (glazes are pre-thinned; add reducer as needed)

  • Best results: Over mid-grey primers; stipple + glaze in thin layers for pitted, weathered texture.

Pairs perfectly with:

  • Forgefire Metals: Warm Alloys — lay true gold/bronze, then simulate oxidation with Verdigris & Patina over the top.

  • Earthworks: Browns & Ochres — stone plinths, wood bases, and soil tones that frame aged copper and bronze.
