Description

Urban Ruins — Concrete & Asphalt — 6×22 ml Mini Set

Sidewalk dust, cinder block, and tire-worn asphalt—Urban Ruins gives you a concrete-to-curb palette that layers fast, reads clearly, and dries ultra-flat for gritty, camera-ready scenes.

Why you’ll love it

  • Authentic city tones: Slab grey, sun-bleached curb, and believable grime/lichen.

  • BSG workflow built in: 2 Base, 2 Sketch, 2 Glaze for quick, repeatable finishes.

  • Ultra-flat finish: No unwanted shine—great for rubble, bases, and urban boards.

  • Project-friendly volume: 6 bottles × 22 ml each.

What’s inside

  • Base (100% opaque): Dragon Ash Grey, Compound Fracture

  • Sketch (pre-thinned, semi-opaque): 51st Shade, Dead Scale

  • Glaze (pre-thinned, transparent): O.D. Green, Ground Dweller Sepia

How to use

  1. Base your slabs and curbs: roll Dragon Ash Grey for concrete mass; tap Compound Fracture onto sun-bleached edges and chips.

  2. Sketch wear: edge and chip with 51st Shade; stipple Dead Scale for limey, aged concrete.

  3. Glaze life into it: tint O.D. Green into cracks and base edges for lichen/mildew; run Ground Dweller Sepia through seams, oil stains, and tire paths for city grime.

  4. Optional: Dry speckling with a stiff brush adds salt-and-pepper concrete texture.

Tech specs

  • Finish: Ultra-flat

  • Volume: 6×22 ml bottles

  • Use: Brush or airbrush (glazes are pre-thinned; add reducer as needed)

  • Best results: Over mid-grey primers; layer thin stipples + glazes for realistic aggregate and wear.

Pairs perfectly with:

  • Earthworks (Browns & Ochres) — soil, bark, and dust tones to blend sidewalks into terrain.

  • Frostforged Metals: Cold Steel — steel beams, rebar, and hardware that sell the ruin vibe.
