Once beasts of field and farm, these mechanical titans now drag carriages through cobblestone streets, tow artillery across battlefields, and labor in the mines where no living creature could survive. Their heavy steps echo like war drums, each strike of hoof on stone a reminder of industry’s relentless march.
📜GM Hook: When a shipment of ore never reaches the foundry, the adventurers are sent to investigate. They find the wagons abandoned, the cargo gone—and the great Clockwork Oxen still harnessed, standing silent in the fog, as though awaiting new orders from an unseen master.
